It was a lovely day for a party and a few of the trees gave us a little teaser of fall. We decorated donuts, ate cereal, fruit and of course cake and cupcakes. The birthday girl was mostly excited for the bounce house. It was a good day!
All the garlands, tags, and invites were done by Becca from
Orange Paper Shoppe. She made the party so extra special and we are so appreciative of all her hard work.
We will probably be eating leftover cereal till 2015......

I found the tutorial for these tents here and I think they were pretty fun for the kids and they also helped close off the space. |

We had hot chocolate and coffee. And mini marshmallows. |

We ended up getting plain cake donuts from a local donut shop. The owner was so helpful and ended up just giving us the glazes which made it so much easier. I tried about three different frostings from store bought to homemade (which would have been super expensive to make for 80 some people) and nothing had that glaze taste like the actual donut shop stuff. Had this been inside I probably would have let the kids dip but I figured the glazes out in the open would attract some serious critters. |
